Blood Transfusion -- Physical vs Spiritual

Sometimes we may need a blood transfusion in order that our lives may be saved. The procedure can be very expensive, and even though we may have the blood transfusion, we will eventually die.

The Lord showed me that, as a blood transfusion saves a physical life, so, the blood of Jesus is a spiritual transfusion of His blood that saves our spirits. The difference between a physical blood transfusion and a spiritual one is, that we will live for eternity, even when we die physically. Let me explain.
  • Jesus gave His physical life when He was crucified on the cross. His blood was sacrificed for us, so that we may have life in Him. All we need to do is believe that He gave His life for us.
  • The blood of Jesus is free from the cost of money, but once we receive His blood, we are His for eternity. Isn't that wonderful! He paid for us with His precious blood. The blood of Jesus removes the sin from our spirits, just like a blood transfusion is necessary to remove cancer from our blood cells.
  • Jesus arose from being in the grave after the third day, and He lives forever, because there is nothing that can destroy the blood of Jesus.
  • We also need a transfusion of the words that come into our lives. I like to call it a "Word Transfusion." The Word of God will transform our lives, because now, we have His Word working in and through us. We need to put to death(crucify as it were) the negative, and destructive words that seem to come at us from everywhere. The only way we can live a victorious life, is through speaking the positive Words from God's Word. What comes out of our mouths will rule our lives.
Many have received a new life through Jesus, but their words hasten their departure from this life, because of the words that come out of their mouths. Proverbs 13:3 (KJV)says, "He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life."  We  will be defeated by speaking negative words.

Another verse warning us of defeat is found in Proverbs 18:21  (KJV) "Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof."

We need to speak the Word of God over a situation, whether it be a sickness, a financial lack, or whatever problem we may encounter. The Holy Spirit of God is faithful to help us to come out of a negative way of talking, and to have a victorious life, through Christ Jesus.

Let us believe the Word of God, and have all His promises working in and through us.

Romans 12:1-2 (KJV)says, "I beseech you therefore brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that acceptable and perfect, will of God."
